Our vision established in 2015 remains in place today.
When Project Vim began in 2015, it was founded with a simple, yet powerful vision – to be Spokane’s premier management consultancy and Spokane’s best place to work. We also defined our mission as being three key elements: (1) Support and Nurture our Staff, (2) Win the Best Work, and (3) Deliver Superior Quality. In our first year we were focused on obtaining challenging and rewarding work for our growing team.
The establishment of the Project Vim ‘Win Plan’ was a key turning point.
2016 was a pivotal time in our history, when we defined six key pillars of the business, in order to define and measure our future success. The six pillars are Culture, Service Delivery, Consulting Excellence, Operations Excellence, People Engagement, and Sales and Marketing. The six pillars were defined as a key part of our strategy (‘Win Plan’) and are still used to measure our business today.
In 2017 Project Vim experienced significant growth.
Our team doubled in size in 2017, with multiple key accounts established to provide our staff with rewarding and interesting engagements. As our business grew, we worked hard to ensure that all six pillars of the Win Plan remained balanced.
Investment was key in 2018 – investing in our business and processes for our people.
2018 was all about investment at Project Vim. This included investing in growing our corporate services team; providing better systems and processes to make it easier for our team to focus on what they’re good at: doing great work. As part of the investment in our people care and management, we established the General Management layer within our business, providing our people and our clients with direct support from our Leadership Team.
Ensuring we continue to put our people and culture first.
Ensuring our vision to be Spokane’s Best Place to Work was strengthened within 2019, with Project Vim continuing to strongly focus on our people and culture. This included providing a new, larger refurbished office to meet the growing needs of our flexible workforce, implementing staff performance feedback into our established professional development processes and implementing heavily in staff well-being as an enduring part of our company. In addition, 2019 saw the launch of our Consultant Development Programme for university graduates as we continue to focus on seeking and retaining the best talent in the Spokane market.
